How Late Can I Lock A Loan?

The bond market opens at 8AM. Investors start releasing rates around 10AM. This is when you start to see live pricing for the day. Most lenders offer overnight protections, meaning they will honor your rate lock as long as it comes in before 8AM the following day. Please note interest rates change multiple times throughout the day. This means the rate you saw and noon might be different by 2pm.
